Radiovisual #002: Haitian artist Mario Benjamin, Cory Arcangel’s Photoshop, and Brian Dillon’s hypochondria

What a week. We Skyped with Haitian artist Mario Benjamin, we learned that Cory Arcangel really doesn’t know how to use Photoshop, we review work by Elisabeth Subrin, LaToya Ruby Frazier and Gelitin. As X-initiative closed its doors and went to sleep, we discussed our various medical symptoms with a sympathetic Brian Dillon, critic and author of a recent book about artists and hypochondria.

To top it all off, we became the world’s first Padcast. What, you don’t know what that means? Don’t worry, neither do we.

Radiovisual #001: The Pilot

Here it is, folks! The first ever episode of Radiovisual, the new podcast about contemporary art in New York hosted by Michael Connor and Claire Hamilton. It’s fast, it’s funny, it has Thurston Moore in it. We discuss Jeffrey Deitch’s appointment to MOCA, we lament the closure of Monkeytown, and we review Omer Fast, Patti Smith and Steven Sebring, and Bruce High Quality Foundation. You can find us on iTunes by searching ‘Radiovisual’ .
